It is that time of the year where WakeWorld ( http://www.wakeworld.com/RidersPoll/2008/Picks.asp ) takes a worldwide survey where grassroots riders (that’s you) voice your opinion about who deserves to be the top riders of the year, rookie of the year, as well as rating wakeboards, skates, and other wake equipment. The 2008 WakeWorld Riders Choice Awards. Some great prizes when you register your vote.

REEF Wakefest 2008
30th & 31st August, Kallang Riverside Park
The 6th REEF Wakefest is set to kick off again on 30th & 31st August at Kallang Riverside Park, and will feature the best local and regional wakeboarders from Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Philippines and Thailand. REEF Wakefest is fusion of explosive wakeboarding action, heart pumping music and latest surf fashion.
Professional Wakeboarders JD Webb and Tino Santori from the USA will make a guest appearance and put on a demonstration during the event. Top regional riders will be invited to compete in the Open Division which will include a SGD5,000.00 cash purse. There will also be event categories for athletes of all abilities with SGD5,000.00 worth of REEF product prizes to be won.

SKI360 and WBA will be organising a cable competition on 13 September at SKI360, East Coast Park.
Be mesmerized by the wakeboarders and wakeskaters as they catch big air and grind the rails through out the Park. Its gonna be a huge party all day long and the action's gonna heat up as the sun sets on competition day. We've lined up top DJs to keep your feet moving till late.
There are 9 categories for the Cable Contender:
- Combined Junior Wakeboard (12 yrs old & under)
- Womens Wakeboard Novice
- Mens Wakeboard Novice
- Womens Wakeboard Intermediate
- Mens Wakeboard Intermediate

WWA Worlds and CamSur Rider's Cup Results!
The 2008 WWA Wake Park World Championships and CamSur Riders Cup concludes as the sports largest combined event to date!

CAMSUR WATERSPORTS COMPLEX, Philippines - Sunday concluded the 2008 WWA Wakeboard World Championships and the CamSur Riders Cup. The 5 day event at the CamSur Watersports Complex in the beautiful province of Camarines Sur in the Philippines included 15 divisions with over 230 riders from 21 countries.
